Your role with us
As a staff engagement and resiliency advocate, you will be the heartbeat of emotional support and connection across our organization with a vital presence in the Emergency Department. You’ll build trust with staff and physicians, offering guidance through challenges and championing a culture of wellness, inclusivity, and resilience. From leading crisis debriefs to developing innovative wellness workshops, your impact will ripple through every department, empowering individuals and strengthening teams. What you'll do
- Foster meaningful relationships with staff and physicians, particularly within high-acuity areas such as the Emergency Department, through consistent, supportive engagement.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and teams, including leading crisis debriefs and facilitating referrals to appropriate resources such as EAP and counseling.
- Identify and address signs of burnout, compassion fatigue, and emotional distress by implementing evidence-based resiliency strategies.
- Develop and deliver wellness-focused workshops, peer support initiatives, and educational sessions to promote psychological safety and team cohesion.
- Champion a culture of respect, inclusivity, and confidentiality across all interactions.
- Remain current on best practices in staff wellness and resiliency to inform and enhance program offerings.
Required qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in social work, chaplaincy, or a related field, or a minimum of four years of relevant work experience will be considered.
Additional information
- Training in Critical Incident Stress Management strongly preferred.
- Resiliency training strongly preferred.

RN residency program
Begin your journey from student nurse to confident practitioner with our RN Residency Program. The program features a combination of didactic lessons, simulation, and track-specific class options. It begins with orientation and training and proceeds to preceptorship and mentorship.
