Your role with us 

As a contract data analyst at Salem Health, you'll play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across Supply Chain operations. This position focuses on maintaining contract accuracy within the MMIS, managing national contract pricing, and delivering analytical insights that inform purchasing and value analysis strategies. 

What you'll do

  • Manage item master price updates and maintain all Med/Surg contract entries within the MMIS.
  • Act as the primary administrator for the MMIS contract management system.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain purchasing team to identify and resolve pricing discrepancies.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analytics support using MMIS tools.
  • Manage Premier national contract renewals, perform cost analysis, and activate pricing updates.
  • Provide spend data for Premier buying programs (e.g., SURPASS) and support strategic pricing analysis with the value analysis team.
  • Create and manage standard reports to track utilization trends within Med/Surg categories.
  • Analyze data from various sources to uncover pricing insights and market trends.
  • Partner with the value analysis team to support spend analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings projects.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information services or other related field and three years of related experience OR Master's degree in business, finance, information services or other related field and two years of related experience OR six years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Three years demonstrated successful experience in roles requiring data analytics, proficiency with business intelligence software, or materials management information systems. A Master's degree in a related field can be considered in lieu of one year of experience.

  • Effective performance in this position requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Experience supporting Supply Chain Services preferred.
  • One year healthcare experience preferred.
