Salem Health is seeking an experienced manager who is ready to lead with purpose and build a thriving culture to assume the role of Wound Care Clinical Manager overseeing our Advanced Wound Care programs. What you'll do
- Lead operations of two wound care clinics and inpatient wound/ostomy nursing, including schedules, staffing, patient flow, safety, and compliance, across multiple sites (Salem and West Valley), ensuring smooth clinic flow, patient access, and high-quality care.
- Build a thriving team by coaching and supporting staff and fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, strong communication, and accountability.
- Partner with providers, the medical director, and leaders to drive improvements, manage resources, and ensure the department meets quality, safety, and patient experience goals while enhancing patient care and encouraging program growth.
- Be the go-to problem solver, visible in the clinics and proactive in communication and follow-through.
- Drive innovation by working with vendors and the medical director on wound care products, equipment, and process improvements.
- Develop, monitor, and achieve goals related to employee engagement and financial performance.
- Actively build trust through regular rounding, 1:1s, team meetings, and consistent presence.
- Recognize and celebrate team accomplishments while holding staff accountable to standards of excellence.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with preference given to degrees in healthcare and leadership-related specialties.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Three years of people management experience.
- Five years of relevant experience in a hospital setting.
