Your role with us
As a prep cook, your role is to prepare, cook, and fry high-quality food quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You are responsible for maintaining consistency, quality, and speed throughout your shift while following all food safety and hygiene standards. You play a key part in the kitchen team, ensuring every dish meets the department’s standards before it reaches the customer or patient.
What you'll do
- Prepare and portion ingredients, including cutting produce in various forms.
- Stock and maintain station pars throughout the shift.
- Ensure all stations are fully prepped and ready for service.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, broilers, flat tops, and ovens.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards carefully.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide exceptional service through consistent food quality and presentation.

RN residency program
