Your role with us
Come join our dynamic and collaborative acute care therapy team at Salem Health, where you’ll make a meaningful impact in the lives of our most vulnerable patients. As an occupational therapist in our Neonatal Intensive Care unit, you’ll work at the top of your license, delivering compassionate, family-centered care with a focus on sensory, neurobehavioral, and feeding development in premature and newborn populations.
What you’ll do
- Conduct evidence-based evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for premature and newborn patients.
- Focus on sensory, neurobehavioral and feeding development in the Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics and Mother-Baby units.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, speech therapists, nursing, neonatologists, lactation consultants and care managers.
- Deliver exceptional patient and family-centered care with a strong emphasis on communication and customer service.
- Communicate professionally and effectively within the team and across departments.
Required qualifications
- Holds a valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible.
Additional information
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required.
