Our Urology Clinic proudly serves patients from across Oregon’s Mid-Willamette Valley, offering the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients and families in an outpatient setting. As a Clinic Nurse, you will play a vital role in guiding patients through their care journey—conducting thoughtful, age-appropriate assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, and providing clear education that empowers patients to actively participate in their care. What you'll do
- Performs accurate, ongoing and age-appropriate patient assessments incorporating medical, social, cultural and educational factors.
- Develops, reviews and coordinates individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families and the healthcare team.
- Delivers evidence-based nursing interventions and urologic clinical care within scope of practice, provider orders and nursing protocols.
- Prioritizes patient needs, anticipates risks and responds appropriately to urgent and emergent situations.
- Provides patient and family education using appropriate language and methods to support understanding, readiness and self-care.
- Maintains complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation reflecting assessments, interventions, education and patient responses.
- Serves as a frontline clinical leader by supporting clinic staff, promoting continuous improvement and maintaining a safe care environment.
Required qualifications
- Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) – Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Registered Nurse – Current unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
- One year of nursing experience.
Additional information
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
- Successful applicants will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical skills and computer and keyboarding proficiency.
- The preferred candidate will be able to communicate clearly and constructively in written and verbal formats while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Ideal candidates can exercise sound professional judgment under pressure, including during urgent and emergent situations.
- Those who will achieve success in this role exhibit strong organizational, delegation and leadership skills while coordinating care with multidisciplinary and interpretive services.
