Your role with us
As a system/application analyst II at Salem Health, you will provide expert technical support and analysis to resolve complex issues and optimize system performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement system solutions, identify and correct root causes of incidents, and drive continuous improvement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
What you'll do
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex incidents and provide expert solutions to end-user requirements.
- Configure and install new hardware, software, and maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement system solutions based on customer and organizational requirements.
- Identify and correct root causes of incidents to prevent future recurrence and promote continuous improvement.
- Work closely with operational counterparts to ensure consistent business processing methods and provide input into developing standards and requirements for new products and services.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, including Lean activities, to reduce waste and drive positive change.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date ticket queue and provide documentation around area of support based on department and organization standards.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, healthcare, or a related field is required. Alternatively, candidates with eight years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. For example, each year of relevant education can be substituted with two years of experience (e.g., four years of experience = associate's degree, eight years of experience = bachelor's degree).
- Three years of experience in IT, healthcare, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in the specific technology or knowledge area relevant to this role.
- Industry standard proficiency within the given content area of expertise to be obtained within two years of hire.
