Your Role With Us:
As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring patient safety and efficient operations within the Endoscopy department. You’ll utilize strong communication skills to accurately document patient information and coordinate with various services, adapting your approach to meet individual needs. Your attention to safety is paramount, as you perform equipment checks, assist with patient transport, and adhere to infection prevention protocols. You’ll support the care team by setting up procedure rooms, assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and anticipating instrument needs. With a focus on quality and continuous improvement, you’ll contribute to a safe, organized environment and enhance the overall patient experience through your dedication and skills.

Background/Expertise:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of hospital or ASC medical procedural experience preferred in Endoscopy Technician or comparable role. (I.e. Surgical Tech, Sterile Processing Tech).
- Must have working knowledge of aseptic technique.
- BLS required for hire.
- Must complete and pass the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates Program within 6 months of hire.
- Must be able to take call shifts as assigned.
- Must be flexible for scheduling.
