Your Role With Us:
You will employ your expertise and conflict resolution abilities to act as a resource for patients and their families, ensuring that their concerns regarding hospital care and service are heard and addressed appropriately and immediately.

Background/Expertise:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a health, mental health, counseling, social work, related profession required. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in acute or emergency medical care, mental health care or the treatment of addictions performing counseling/social services or direct clinical care functions.
- Consideration will also be given to those candidates who have previously performed a Patient Advocate role in the care settings listed above, in a capacity as outlined in this job description, with undergraduate degrees in fields that include ‘conflict resolution,’ and for a minimum of three (3) years.
- Exemplary communication skills (face to face and on the telephone).
- Knowledgeable and practiced in conflict resolution strategies .
- Positive attitude toward healthcare as a service industry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs including Power Point, Word & Excel.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
